Lincoln University College, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, was founded in the year in 2002 as Lincoln College and in 2011 Lincoln College was upgraded to Lincoln University College. It is one of the premier private institutions of higher education approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA- National Accreditation Board). 

Originally established as The Ashmun Institute, Lincoln University received its charter from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania on April 29, 1854, making it the nation's first degree-granting Historically Black College and University (HBCU). Is IELTS mandatory for admission here? - In addition to meeting the academic requirements outlined above, applicants will also be expected to meet the University's English Language requirements. As a guide, the majority of their programmes require an IELTS score of almost  6.0 to 7.0.
